Cherry Tree Art Studio

Cherry Tree Art Studio is a pole barn on Sara’s property that opened in October of 2019. The Barn was built by Sara’s husband, Kevin, and her father-in-law as a labor of love that took two years to finish. Now, Sara uses the studio as a space for hosting events, enjoying creative company, and working on her art!

Cherry Tree Art Studio is currently open by appointment.

The studio was built on land that has been in the Glupker family for a very long time. Sara and her family are the 4th and 5th generation to live on this property, and the land was originally used for a cherry orchard that housed hundreds of cherry and peach trees!

Sara and her family wanted to name the studio in such a way that they would stay in touch with their roots. Sara grew up in Northern Michigan and the Petosky area, where cherry trees also commonly grow. So, Cherry Tree Art Studio is a nod to family history, the legacy of the land, and the original family farm and orchard. The studio is also a shared space for Sara’s family members and many of her artsy friends.
