This camp is for children who are going to be in grades 4-6 in the fall

This camp is for 5 half-days, August 7-11 (Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm)

Mega Art Camp 2023. Theme: Having a Blast through Storytelling and Character Creation

Welcome to the week-long Mega Art Camp! This is the perfect camp for those who love to create and want to spend a week at the studio making art! For this year’s camp, campers will dive into what makes a great story. They will create their own cast of characters and will paint a landscape backdrop for their created stories. Their characters will come to life through the creation of small puppets and campers will use their creativity to draft a short story involving their characters. We will be having tons of fun while working on drawing skills, painting technique, and designing and creating in 3-D. On Friday, students will pull all of these elements together to perform their short stories/skits. Parents and family members are encouraged to attend and watch the performances, celebrate the campers and enjoy refreshments. Each camper will receive a special camp t-shirt for attending the Mega Art Camp! This week-long experience will be a fun way to spend the end of the summer with peers while learning more about creating, storytelling and performing in this indoor/outdoor creative space!
