“The five paintings in the Summer in the City Collection were created for the recent online exhibition “Summer” offered by the Square Foot Show (Canada). These paintings were created as a reflection of a recent sunny summer night spent visiting my mentor/friend’s art show in Chicago. I loved how the light hit the windows and brick around me and cast all of the bright citrus colors on the buildings. I had so much fun recreating this moment between sun up and sun down with these paintings.” - Sara
